This game uses libtcod, available at https://github.com/libtcod/libtcod, which is released under the BSD license. The Windows version was compiled using auto-py-to-exe (https://pypi.org/project/auto-py-to-exe/) and previously used py2exe (http://www.py2exe.org/).

**** REQUIREMENTS ****

Few, but the sum total of save files is currently large (100MB+) and the game requires a few hundred MB of memory to run. However, if you can download games of any kind of significant size from any online gaming storefront - I'm sure you can store URR's save files.

**** OTHER INFORMATION ****

This game is in development - whilst I do everything in my power to prevent it, there is always a risk of problems or serious problems that may damage your computer. Nobody has ever reported such an issue, but _*you use it and all associated files at your own risk.*_

Visit www.markrjohnsongames.com for up-to-date information on the game's coming versions. The game remains free and I program it in the spare time I have away from my job as an academic at the University of Sydney. Similarly, news about the game is also released via its Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/UltimaRatioRegumRoguelike) and my Twitter feed (https://twitter.com/mrj_games).

If you wish to mention Ultima Ratio Regum in a blog/magazine/youtube channel/semaphore message/whatever, it would genuinely make my day. Do let me know if you do.

Please send any compliments, insults, questions, fury, suggestions or bug reports (especially bug reports) to me using the contact form on my website.

Ultima Ratio Regum very rarely generates a false threat report in some security software - this is a known problem with some Python executables and I'm working on a solution.

**** FAQ ****

Q: Help what do I do?!?
A: Right now you have a supremely detailed procedurally-generated world to explore - using 'l' or ';' to look at things, and 't' to travel when you're outside of a building, will help a great deal.

Q: What will the next version include?
A: 0.11 is currently in development and will finally include a starting core objective, dozens of new items, an expansion of the religion system, and interactive options with the in-game items.

Q: Who are you?
A: I'm a Senior Lecturer in Digital Cultures at the University of Sydney, where I research Twitch streaming, esports, and game design. I'm making this in my spare time purely for my own interest / enjoyment / satisfaction / mental anguish.

Q: Mac version?
A: I'm working on it.

Q: Linux version?
A: I'm working on it!
